Wingate by Wyndham Dieppe Moncton

We stayed on a weekend at this location. Breakfast was great - toast, bagel, eggs, sausages, ham, potatoes, pancakes, fruit, yogurt - you get the point. The rooms were clean and larger than I anticipated. I stayed on a weekend, so parking was of no concern. I am not sure how equipped they are for parking during the week, as it was in a business district. There were not many shops around and it was quiet. A few restaurants were not far though! The pool was clean and a fair size. The staff were absolutely lovely and treated my wild children wonderfully.

The staff was friendly. The king room was spacious, clean, and comfortable with a large bathroom and shower. Although I wish the parking was free, (it was $14 + tax I think - my son had it added to his bill) it was convenient that the elevator went down to the underground parking so we never had to deal with the weather when loading and unloading the car. There were 4 of us and we were able to use a table in the breakfast area at night to enjoy a bottle of wine and a game of cards after dinner before retiring for the night. Breakfast in the morning was served 7-10am and had an ample selection of items from sweet to savory.

We arrived early from North Sydney, from the ferry. We had our cabin cancelled inadvertently and had to sleep in the lounge of the ferry. Not good. We arrived unshaven, unshowered etc and needing a clean up. The reception staff pulled out all the stops to get a room ready for us. Fantastic and such a relief and the travel to the ferry had been a drive from hell - snow, rain, mist etc. The room was perfect, bed - very comfortable. Breakfast was definitely better than so many others. Good choice of cereals, hot food, and hot drinks. The staff that we encountered were all polite and pleasant and well trained. We had to stay an extra night due to weather conditions to our next destination. Not a problem and we had an extra very good day exploring the town of Moncton. This was certainly worth it. The staff at this hotel are well trained and exhibit a very good culture within the hotel.

We stayed for a hockey tournament and had a great time- the kids enjoyed the pool and gym and also the beautiful outdoor rink in the back of the property. Staff were so friendly, especially the reception gentleman. The hotel itself is very nice and clean, and we all thoroughly enjoyed breakfast.

The location of this hotel is superb; my mom and I felt completely safe and at home in the area. However, the only reason I am not giving this 10 stars is because the Wi-fi did not work the entire two night stay, and the fridge also did not work in the room. Otherwise, the place was WONDERFULLY clean, and the rooms are large and spacious (not to mention the bathrooms are gorgeous!). The breakfast was delicious, and the staff was friendly. Not overly so, but nice at least. A very good place to stay, and when my mom and I are passing through again, we will come back here. Thank you!
